KIKO Milano does not carry out or order cosmetic testing on animals,
either for finished products or for raw materials and ingredients.

We are compliant with the Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 and committed
to the pursuit of progress in Italian and European cosmetics through
research into alternative tests to animal toxicological tests that
protect consumer safety.

Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 is a comprehensive legislation governing
cosmetic products in the European Union. It sets stringent safety and
labeling requirements for cosmetics, ensuring consumer protection. The
regulation prohibits the testing of cosmetic products and ingredients on
animals within the EU and also restricts the sale of products that have
been tested on animals outside the EU.
